Need to talk to someone?
April 26, 2015- 10:30 am
At Extremechurch we are building REAL Community with one another, but we understand the difficulty with Authenticity and Trust in our Culture today. We are a No Perfect People Allowed Church, and church should truly be an honest journey about being Broken Together. On this side of Heaven, as Christ Followers we will always struggle with sin, and it is this honest approach to life with others that we desperately need in our church family. The Struggle is Real, and so is the Solution. It is time that we experience the REAL Community that Jesus has called us to be a part of, take off the mask, stop pretending, and become BROKEN TOGETHER.

“He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife.”

2. IT PREVENTS PERSONAL GROWTH
Proverbs 11:2 (NLT)
“Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom”
Proverbs 10:17 (LB)

1. ADMIT MY SINS HONESTLY

“Don’t cherish exaggerated ideas of yourself or your importance, but try to have a sane estimate of your capabilities…”
Galatians 6:4 (NIV)
“Each man should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself without comparing himself to somebody else.”
3. ENJOY MY SUCCESSES GRATEFULLY
1 Corinthians 4:7 (LB)
“What are you so puffed up about? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if all you have is from God, why act as though you have accomplished something on your own?”
4. SERVE OTHERS UNSELFISHLY
Philippians 2:3-5 (NIV)
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, consider others better than yourselves… Look not only to your own interests, but also the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ.”
5. DEPEND ON JESUS CONTINUALLY
Psalms 10:4 (NCV)
“Wicked people are proud. They do not look for God; there is no room for God in their thoughts.”
Proverbs 22:4 (NLT)
“True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life.”
