I Kings 17:1-24
I The Prophet and the Projection of the
vision (v1)
A. Vision was God given not man created
B. Vision is God’s goal from being kingdom
minded and faith based
C. Vision from God will bring God-size growth
and blessings
II The Process and Provisions for God’s vision
will be on God’s timetable and agenda (v2-7)
A. Heard from God when God wanted to
speak (v2)
B. Hide in the favor of God and His blessings
in order to see the vision through (v3)
C. How God chooses to do things will not be
how we normally do things (v4)
D. Hesitation is the absence of faith and the
birth of fear and formality (v5)
E. Hick-ups and Hang-ups are part of God’s plan
they are here to test our faith and remind us
that God is in control and teach us to cry
out for help. (v6-7)
III The Purification and Empowering by faith
the vision and visionary (v8-16)
A. Power of God’s command (v8)
B. Purification of the visionary (v9)
C. Prayer and Provisions = possibilities (v10-11)
D. Problem of others not seeing clearly, what
God has revealed to you (v12-13)
E. Provision of God’s supernatural powers

IV The Power and Plan of God comes

A. Obstacles are Opportunities (v17-18)
B. Overcoming of Oppression and Obstacles
through Prayer builds Obedience in faith
(v19-22)
C. Obedience in the midst of a trial yields to
being Overjoyed by the power and
provision of God (v23-24)
