Introduction
Proverbs 29:18
Vision Statement:
It is our vision to reach Paris, NE Texas,
North America, and the nations for Jesus Christ.
Acts 1:8
Purpose Statement or Church Motto
1. Enriching: to make rich or richer especially
by the addition or increase of some desirable
quality, attribute, or ingredient. a: to add
beauty to; b: enhance the taste of; c: to make
(a soil) more fertile.
a. It is our vision to enrich the lives
and the relationship of believers in
their journey with the Lord Jesus and
other Christ followers.” (II Peter 1:1-14)
2. Equipping: to prepare (someone) for a
particular activity or problem, to furnish for
service or action by appropriate provisioning
to make ready.
a. It is our vision to make sure every
believer is properly and perfectly
equipped to perform in the ministry
and service to the calling of God on
their lives. (Eph 4:7-16)
3. Engaging: To obtain or contract for the
services of, to arrange for the use of,
reserve, to pledge or promise, especially
to marry, to attract and hold the attention of;
engross, to win over or attract: to draw into;
involve: to require the use of; occupy: to enter
or bring into conflict with, to interlock, or cause
to interlock; mesh, to give or take as
security, to involve oneself or become
occupied; participate, to assume an obligation;
agree, to enter into conflict or battle, to become
meshed or interlocked:
a. It is our vision to engage every member
into Kingdom opportunities, ministries
and missions that aligns with their
spiritual gifts. When we are engaged in
the local church and its kingdom
projects we are fulfilling Jesus’ outline
of the New Testament church and
believer. (II Timothy 2:1-26)
5 fundamentals to acquiring a clear vision for our
lives, families, ministries, careers, church, etc
1. The Power of God's word will point us towards
God’s vision and will for our lives
(Rom 8:29-30, Psalm 119:105)
2. The Prayer and Passion of seeking God’s
vision and will for our lives
(I Kings 19:11-13, Prov 8:17)
3. The Preaching and Presentation of God’s
Word will confirm God’s vision and will for our
lives (Acts 17:11, John 16:13, Rom 9:1)
4. The Possibility and Permission to dream and
desire more from God for He will draw us to
His vision and will for our lives
(Eph 3:20, Luke 18:27)
5. The Prompting and Pursuit of the Holy Spirit
will draw us to God’s vision and will for our
lives (I Sam 3:4-6, Eph 3:16-21)
