“Mine Eyes have seen the Glory of the Lord”
Jude
I Fighting for the faith of our salvation (v1-4)
A. Converts are preserved and called(v1)
B. Common salvation(v3a)
C. Contending for the faith(v3b)
D. Constrain loose doctrines and deceit(v3c)
(Gal 1:6-9)
E. Counterfeit gospel preached along with false
converts teaching error (v4)
II Faithfulness of God to defend and destroy the
sins of the flesh (5-13)
A. Destruction of the unbelieving Israelites who
trusted not God (v5)
B. Dealt with the falling the angles who did not obey
and respect Gods judgment(v6)
C. Damnation to those who defile what God has
made sacred like marriage (v7)
D. Devil defeated for trying to steal what belongs
to God such as Moses body (v8-9)
E. Deeds of selfishness will not go unnoticed or
punished as was Cain(v10-11a)
F. Deception and discipling others to sin and greed
will be dealt with like Balaam (v11b)
(Num 22:21-35)
G. Disrespect of God appointed authority like
Korah (v11c) (Num 16:20-35)
H. Divisions and cliques in the church as well as
those who sow discord among the brethren will
be dealt with.(v12-16)
1. Not of the Spirit but the flesh(v12)
2. Shameful in their acts and deeds but no
conviction (v13a)
3. They do not know their place and always
trying to assume positions not meant for
them.(v13b)
4. They mummer against truth and the
messengers that brings it (v14-15)
5. Grumblers (v16a)
6. Malcontents (v16b)
7. Following their own passions (v16c)
8. Loud-mouthed boasters (v16d)
9. Flattering people to gain advantage (v16e)
III Faithfully walking by faith (v17-25)
A. Waver not in your faith but build yourself up in the
faith(v17-18)(Eph 5:19-20)
B. Walk in the Spirit and pray in the Holy Spirit
(v19-20)(Rom 8:26-27)
C. Weary not in love but keep yourself in the love
of God and stay in love with God(v21)
D. Witness both by fear and compassion to divert
the lost from destruction and lead them to Christ
(v22-23)
E. Worship God faithfully till the end (v24-25)
