ABC's of Christianity (Pastor Donnie Edwards)
Join us for the study of Psalm 119 the longest chapter in the bible. This study will follow the Hebrew alphabet broken down in 8 verses. The purpose of this study is to create a hunger for God’s word and add these principals in our lives. Follow us on this faith journey as we grow in wisdom and insight as the Holy Spirit leads us through Gods word.
Join us each Sunday morning at 9:00 am or you can catch us on radio station at 7:00pm / TV each Sunday night at 8:00pm and Wednesday night at 7:00pm.

Psalm 119:113-120
I Discernment (v113)
A. Taking all lofty thoughts and compare to the
word of God (v2 Cor 10:4-5)
B. Trusting the word of God over what our emotions
or experiences tell us
II Defense is in the Lord (v114)
A. Refuge in the Lord's word
B. Retain hope in the Lord because of the
promises of the word
III Depart from evil doers (v115)
A. Flee the very appearance of that which is
evil (I Thess 5:22)
B. Fret not thyself because of evil doers
(Psalm 37:1)
IV Dependence on God and His word not on
circumstances (v116-117, 120)
A. Life is in the promises of God's Word
B. Love is in God's Word toward us
C. Lean on God and His Word
V Disobedience will be dealt with (v118-119)
A. Deception and lies will come out and punishment
will come up on them
B. Dross or what is evil will come to the top and
God will put them away
C. Disciples can have hope even of under attack
from the wicked that Judgment is coming for
those who come against Gods' children.
