I Cor 2: 1-16
I Dependance on God and not mans ability is the
birth of faith (v1-5)
A. Learned not (v1)
B. Love for Christ through Christ (v2)
C. Loss of abilities and assests is seed of
faith (v3)
D. Leaning on Holy Spirits supply (v4-5)
II Depths of the discovery of our faith are the
unlimited power and capabilities of God
working through us according to His will (v6-9)
A. Mysteries of God are discovered by faith
B. Manifested word of God discovered by faith
C. Ministry of the word discovered by faith
III Discernment of our faith comes by the spirit
and the word of God according to His will and
our ability to understand God's will (v10-12)
A. Revealed by the Spirit (v10)
B. Researched by the Spirit (v10)
C. Retained by the Spirit (v11)
D. Received by the Spirit (v12)
E. Relinquished by the Spirit (v12)
IV Distribution of our faith comes by obtaining
the mindset of Christ and forsaking human
thinking or comprehension (v14-16)
A. Inadequacy of our human faith compare to
spiritual faith (v14)
B. Insight of the spiritual man (v15)
C. Inspiration of the Holy Spirit's leading and
ushering (v16)
