Searching for Significance (Pastor Donnie Edwards)
I don't know of a single person that does not want their life to matter or count for something even if they are lost or saved. Many are looking for significance without even knowing that they are trying to fill the void by which every man is born, that only God and His will can satisfy. In this series Pastor Donnie will lay out what is significant to God, instead of us trying to figure out what is significant to Man. Let's take a journey to see what matters most to God and then step out in faith and make it significant to us.
Join us each Sunday morning at 9:00 am or you can catch us on radio station at 7:00pm / TV each Sunday night at 8:00pm and Wednesday night at 7:00pm.

2 Samuel 9:1-13

I Covenant between friends and God (v1-5)
A. One that is learned through a right relationship with Jesus (John 14:15-21) (Acts 13:22)
B. One that is based on love not liabilities (Mark 12:31, Psalm 27:10)
C. One that is loyal for a lifetime (Eccl 4:9-12)
D. One that passes on its values and principles as a legacy
to the next generation (Dan 12:3)
II Concern for ones testimonies and tenderness towards others (v6-9)
A. Kindness brings humility (v6)
B. Kinship that is greater than friendship (v7-8)
C. Keeping it real and relational (v9)
III Compassion for those whom we can show compassion (v10-11) (Matt 9:35-38)
A. Blessing that extends beyond the frontlines (Phil 2:3-4)
B. Bounty of resources because of favor (2 Cor 9:6-15)
C. Because we are blessed we bless others (Luke 12:48)
IV Care for the legacy and the long haul of making boys to Men (v12-13)
A. Positions and Provisions (Acts 20:35)
B. Protection and the Pact (Deut 23:23)
C. Promises and Persistence (I John 2:5)
