cramped place, where one is “in straits.”
For the lost this is unendurable; for the
saved, it only affords room for God’s help,
when naught else can avail.

3. Persecution- “to make to run,” or “to run
swiftly to catch” those pursued; so, to
persecute. (Matt 5:11)
4. Famine-(limos) it means scarcity of harvest,
hunger (Phil 4:11-13)
5. Nakedness- spiritually separated from
Christ with unconfessed sin
6. Peril- This word means danger or great
jeopardy (2 Corinthians 11:26,
1 Corinthians 15:30)
7. Sword- (Matthew 26:47:Acts 12:2)
C. Affirmation of the power of God’s love
(Romans 8:37-39)
1. Neither death (Hebrews 2:14-15, I Cor.15)
2. Nor life (John 6:35-40)
3. Nor angels (Dan. 10:8-17)
4. Nor principalities (Ephesians 1:21)
